Who are we

Lubos Chren

  • Lubos was born in Slovakia in 1970. After his studies of electronics in high school he went to study at the business college in Australia. He worked as a marketing analyst for a television broadcast-station and for an international beverage company.
  • As a marketing analyst he is very well aware of the tourist potential of Slovakia. On the other hand, he admits that tourism is not highly developed in this country. However he does not consider that negatively but rather as an interesting alternative of mass tourism.
  • According to his opinion, Slovakia is not for tourists who expect only comfort and the best services everywhere. For those tourists it would be better to choose one of the countries in the west of Europe. But for those who do not wish to be in places crowded with tourists everywhere, who prefer calm and would like to experience something new, Slovakia will be the right place to visit, the place which they will love and come back to often.
  • Abram Muller

  • Abram was born in The Netherlands in 1963, and ever since he has traveled the world, first with his parents, later on his own, inheriting the travel urge of his parents, lead by the search for a place to stay, and having found that place in Slovakia since 1993.
  • His interest in Central Europe went fatal when he started to explore the literature of great writers from that region during the time of his studies at Amsterdam University which were narrowly connected to Central and Eastern Europe.
  • From 1982 Abram traveled the countries which were called East Block, the countries behind the Iron Curtain. It was then he learned to love the people there and their historical varieties and variety in character; it was then he learned to despise communism that till now still affects those that have suffered it.
  • Abram has built up MA studies of Dutch Language at Comenius University of Bratislava, and after having resigned as a lecturer, is now spending full time in tourism development of Slovakia. He is a certified guide.
  • He considers Slovakia the most unspoiled country in Europe, and would like to introduce its great nature to tourists who want to participate in it, visiting the country and leaving it untouched at the same time by means of cycle tourism and agro tourism.
