Visit Prague, the former capital of Czecho-Slovakia, now capital of the Czech Republic, and the new capital of the young European republic Slovakia, capital of an old nation, Bratislava.
In combination with a special cultural performance, and a tour of the Little Carpathian mountains with wine-tasting.

  • Day 1: Bratislava

  • Arrival at Bratislava (transfer from Bratislava or Vienna airport to the hotel).
  • Short visit of Bratislava Castle, guided tour of the old town (2 hours).
  • Attraction

  • Bratislava Castle - a former residence of Hungarian rulers including King Sigismund of Luxembourg who was elected as Holy Roman Emperor.
  • St. Martin's Cathedral - a coronation place of rulers of the Habsburg empire.
  • Day 2: Bratislava - Small Carpathians - Bratislava

  • Visit of castle Červený Kameň, with wine-tasting and "husacina", traditional goose meal.
  • Attraction

  • Castle Červený Kameň - the castle itself has cellars of an unbelievable size, projected by famous painter Albrecht Dürer. In these cellars movies as Princess Fantaghiro or Frankenstein have been realized.
  • Day 3: Bratislava – Gerulata – Danubiana - Bratislava

  • Visit to roman military camp Gerulata with its museum, and to gallery of modern art Danubiana.
  • Evening cultural performance (Opera, Philharmonics or other concert) according to actual program.
  • Attraction

  • Gerulata Museum in Rusovce - small village on the Danube that once was part of the Roman fortification system of Limes Romanus province Panonia. The Romans built a military settlement here, and the museum shows artifacts from that era.
  • Danubiana - museum of modern art standing on a peninsula in the Danube, built in colours of De Stijl by a Dutchman. There is a terrace hidden from the wind with nice view over the river.
  • Day 4: Prague (Unesco)

  • Arrival at Prague, short orientation tour, free time.
  • Day 5: Prague (Unesco)

  • Guided tour of the old town (2 hours), visit to Prague Castle.
  • Day 6: Prague (Unesco)

  • Depart from hotel to airport in Prague.
