Tatranská Polianka – Batizovské Pleso (lake) – Velické Pleso (lake) – Tatranská Polianka

  • This route leads to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes of the High Tatras,lake Batizovské Pleso.
    After a short break at the lake, we continue along the highest top of the whole Carpathian mountain range, Gerlachovský štít (2 654 m) to lake Velické Pleso and mountain hotel Sliezsky Dom, with the possibility to take refresment.
    The last and easy stretch to Tatranská Polianka leads through the woods.

  • Kriváň is more than just a summit in the Tatras. It is the national summit with the same importance to Slovaks as Olympus to the Greeks and Fuji to the Japanees.

    The climb is of medium difficulty with exception of the last part, which is very steep though technically not difficult. There is no possibility to take refreshments on the way or to find shelter. As reward though one gets a fantastic view in all directions.

    Tatranská Lomnica – Skalnaté pleso (lake) – Zelené pleso (lake) – Tatranská Lomnica

  • Location: Vysoké Tatry (High Tatras)

  • Height increase: 1 188 m
  • Duration: +/- 6 hours (with using of cabin-lift to Skalnaté pleso lake)

  • We take the cabin-lift to lake Skalnaté pleso (1 751 m) which continues on to the summit Lomnický Štít (2634 m) with the highest situated weather station in Slovakia. However we will take the very popular route to chalet Pod Zeleným plesom (Chalet at the Green Lake).

    This is a walk of medium difficulty, sometimes quite fatiguing, through attractive mountain landscape. The stretch from lake Zelené Pleso to Tatranská Lomnica is long but easy.
