  • This old mining town belongs to the most beautiful and historically interesting towns in Slovakia.
  • This place inhabited by German colonists in the 13th century became the centre of mining science and technology development in Europe.

    • Salamander - the allegorical parade with historical costumes, evokes atmosphere of old times, and is yearly held in September (from 8th until 10th Sept. 2006)
