LOCATION - The upper course of the river Hron flows very attractive under the mountain tops of the Low Tatras (20-30 km from Banská Bystrica) and is excellent for fly-fishing.
KIND OF FISH - grayling (Thymallus thymallus), rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), trout (Salmo trutta).
Program and way of fishing
You will be taken by canoe on the first day of your stay in order for you to choose the right spot for fishing also in the other days to come.
We will provide you with fishing gear according to you fishing preferences; it is also possible to take you to a special store for fishing supplies.
An experienced guide will be 8-10 hours a day at your disposition.
MAIN FISHING SEASON - June till December; the best time for grayling is September and October; for trout this is June.

LOCATION - The lower course of the river Hron, near the town Levice in South-west Slovakia, 120 km from Bratislava.
This great variety of biotopes with its 47 kinds of fish is suitable for many different ways of fishing.
KIND OF FISH - sheat-fish (Sillurus glanis), asp (Aspius aspius), pike (Esox lucius), zander (Stizostedion lucioperca), carp (Cyprinus carpio), barbel (Barbus barbus), sneep (Chondrostoma nasus), vimba (Vimba vimba), chub (Leuciscus cephalus), bream (Abramis brama).
